Oprah Diets?

For the amount of products and diets Oprah has used or been on, she should be a soooo very skinny and the healthiest person alive.

Ever hear of the Oprah effect? She uses it or even suggests it, we want it and the proof is how the people selling those products start selling big as soon as she tells us about it.

Pick up a 'Womans world" and it is telling me that Oprah's Diet Bread will help me lose 7lbs a week. I walked by a magazine last month and there was Oprah's face with the headline that she had a 'Soup diet' that was amazing.

If you do a search for Oprah Diets there are over 24,000,000

Bob Greene and Dr. Oz have been giving advice to Oprah. There is the Acai Berry claiming Oprah loves it.

In one article it says Oprah eat tofu instead of meat and does not eat after 7pm.

Now Oprah has never actually designed a diet that I know of...yet there are so many with her name on it.

I have watched Oprah for over half my life, I adore her and everything she stands for, admire her and love the job she has done. That said, I would not follow a diet plan just because it had her name with it. Sorry but I have watched the up and downs with that one.

The bread...is danish rye...just eat it because it is good for you and don't start counting the pounds you hope to lose.

Here is some good info on Oprah's site about health
