I will need that bikini body right away please

All of a sudden, I was sporting a tire tube around my waist. No idea how that happened.

 

“This body is way too big, it is not what I ordered and I would like to return it or at the very least exchange it for something smaller.”

 

If I did the numbers, I am sure it would reveal the formula that produced this weight gain and abnormal outline. Add degrees of stress to the calorie intake minus the hours of exercise not used, some how this equals a ‘new wardrobe’ in an unwanted size.

 

Calling will-power, summoning inner strength and organizational skills, we need a plan here!

 

All I need is time to get the butt moving and moving right out of this wrap-a-around skirt and into some skinny jeans. I would like to make an order of instant bikini body. I would like that to arrive very soon; summer is coming quick.

 

Making this happen can not be too difficult, the pounds came when I was not paying attention, so they can leave the same way.

 

In the age of microwaves, cell phones and internet, waiting does not exist. I would like to not wait or even put much effort into slimming down this physique.

 

It was only a few slices of pie and maybe cake; a few cookies, dessert after supper only on the weekends. OK….will not eat this stuff, will get to the gym next week.

 

Discovered pills that say they can help and the fine print reveals they work with diet and exercise, also look at the body of the chick on the box. It is a no-brainer really; take a few of these pills, go to the gym and skip dessert. I need to be down a few pounds two weeks from now.

 

Day one: I am hungry, didn’t lose any weight

 

Day two: hyper and edgy, lost a pound

 

Day three: this is not working! I need to lose weight now. I need more gym, less food and find a better product.....

 

Question: Are we looking for a quick fix, over and over again?

 

Patience for weight loss is difficult. The weight takes time to be added on to our bodies and it takes time to lose it.

 

Step one of changing our bodies comes from how we view the process of losing weight. We need the knowledge and understanding to make it work. It is not the products or the equipment at the gym that help us lose the weight but how we manage our patience and commitment during the process.
